The Gilbert and Sullivan Archive. The web at its finest: a definitive, exhaustive resource for a very specific subject, assembled and maintained by enthusiasts of the subject.

Nice. I discovered the G&S Archive a while ago, and while poking through the listings and librettos, I realized I have almost all these shows on tape. Back in the 1970s, the BBC made a set of every G&S production, it was low budget and modest (and 1970s production values, low by today's standards). But the D'Oyly Carte troupe did the shows, they are definitive performances. So I dug out my old VHS tapes, ooh they were good. I hear that some of these shows are now available on DVD, I highly recommend them.
Anyway, it was invaluable, having the G&S Archive librettos and analysis while watching a few of my old favorite shows.
