U.S.-ians, don't forget to file for the Telephone Excise Tax Refund with your taxes this year. It's not that much money, but we're probably going to hear a lot about it leading up to April.

And just to give you an idea: I added up all my long distance federal excise taxes from the eligible months from 2003-2006, and, with interest, my refund comes to about $5. It took me about an hour to dig out the old phone bills, sort them, then add up the taxes. Worth it?
