Matt describes it as an April Fools joke. I think he's mostly pointing out the structure of the writing, not its factuality.
ha.. too bad comments were closed, I wanted to tell him the Sidd Finch story was an April Fool's hoax. Good writing, but illustrative of nothing in particular.
