As a sort of statement against conferences with no quality control that "exist only to make money," the creators of SCIgen sent a randomly generated paper to a conference— and it was accepted without review. Thanks to thousands of dollars donated by excited visitors to their web site, they now plan to attend the conference and give a randomly generated talk with a straight face.
