Jamey Aebersold has done more than anyone else to ruin jazz. The country is full of misdirected musicians developing crazy paint-by-numbers chops while "soloing" along to his tunes "in every key." My brother does this and he's a music robot.



Jazz is an amazing thing, a great development of humanity, &c., but don't be fooled by Aebersold Inc. :)
