Ely Landau's American Film Theatre Collection, a 1974 project to make movies of great plays, is out on DVD, as boxed sets or individually. A second set is due in July, and a third set is due in Fall, for a total of 14 films. Set one includes O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, Ionesco's Rhinoceros (starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder), Luther, The Maids, and Butley.
