How To Build a Silent PC. "Ultra-quiet" power supplies are great (I have two), but without further improvements, PCs still make a lot of noise.

Ahh, excellent link. This is one of the plans I have for my next machine (which I'm going to begin building shortly.) Considering my current machine is a ROARING DEATHBOX OF HELL.

Also, I was contemplating the practicality of completely sealing the case, except for the air intakes and exhaust vents, and finding some way to mount a HEPA filter over the intake fans. PCs are basically equivalent to low-output air purifiers, as they draw in air, the static charge created by their components attracts particulate matter, and exhaust the now-cleaner air out the other side. I'd like to find some way of keeping my machine clean(er).
