Eldred v. Ashcroft is the first constitutional challenge to the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act. Lawrence Lessig, a deservedly famous law professor specializing in intellectual property issues, debuted before the Supreme Court on October 10th. Apologies (mostly to myself) for not having given more blogspace to Eldred v. Ashcroft in the past. Court challenges like these are probably more important than "pending" legislation, and are of at least equal educational value.
