FreeCraft is a free real-time strategy game engine for multiple platforms (Linux, BeOS, MacOSX, Windows). Currently only a WarCraft II clone is available, but the engine could be the basis of any of the games in the genre.

weet deal! i put an amazing amount of time into warcraft2, and it would have been the same with starcraft (with my understanding, another game that can be created with this engine), except i lent it out and never got it back.



my brother recently discovered warcraft as well, but he just cheats the whole time. it pisses me off to no end, because ... well, i knew the cheats, but it was never very satisfying.



must try this out. heck, it's free!
